- The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you type (medical bills, wages, fault, state, etc.) are not sent to us, and we do not store them.

- The only data touched is standard hosting logs and privacy-first, cookieless analytics (counts, not people).

Information you enter into the calculator
All calculations happen locally on your device. The financial and personal details you enter are processed in your browser to produce an estimate and are not transmitted to or retained by us.
Information you send us
If you email us (for example, via the Contact page), we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address and message. We use it only to respond to you.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider may automatically record standard server log data (such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and time of visit) for security and reliability. We also use a privacy-first, cookieless analytics service (see below) to understand aggregate usage. That's it — no advertising networks, no cross-site tracking.
Cookies and similar technologies
The calculator does not require tracking cookies to function. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers. Our analytics is cookieless. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; doing so will not stop the calculator from working.
Analytics
We use a privacy-first, cookieless analytics service (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand aggregate, anonymous usage — for example, how many people visited a page. It does not track you across sites, does not build an advertising profile, and does not use ad identifiers. It simply helps us see what's useful and improve the tool.
No advertising
This site displays no advertising. We do not use Google AdSense or any ad network, we embed no ad cookies, trackers, or pixels, and we do not sell your data. You came for a number, not a sales pitch. If this ever changes, we will update this page first and label any change clearly and plainly — we will never quietly turn you into a lead.
The site does link to an optional tip page on Ko-fi (a third-party service) for readers who want to support the tool. It is a plain link — we embed no Ko-fi script, widget, or tracker on this site. If you choose to tip, the payment happens entirely on Ko-fi's site under Ko-fi's privacy policy, and we only ever see what Ko-fi shows the page owner (your display name and message, if you leave one).
